VIDEO: Kuechly asks young Panthers fan for autograph
An adorable scene played out at Carolina Panthers practice Wednesday.
While signing autographs for a group of fans, linebacker Luke Kuechly met one young boy who insisted on giving him his Pinewood Derby car.
"Good luck during the game," 9-year-old Jackson told Kuechly, via WBTV in Charlotte. "You can have it."
Kuechly offered to sign the car for Jackson, but the boy insisted he keep it. So Kuechly had Jackson sign it instead before giving the youngster a pair of Panthers gloves.
"It's commodity trading," Kuechly joked.
Got to love how Carolina Panthers player #59 handled 9-year-old Jackson from Mountain Island Lake. It's perfection.Jackson was there after practice last week with his mom and three older sisters. His mom taped him trying to give "LUUUUUKE" a gift, then sent the video to WBTV's Delano Little, who sent it to the newsroom. I think we should call it "Example of How Big NFL Stars Should Treat Little Fans." Enjoy.(And Jackson - hold on to those gloves!)
