Eagles confirm interview with Tom Coughlin
The Philadelphia Eagles have confirmed the team interviewed former New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin on Monday.
Coughlin has also been linked to a vacant job with the San Francisco 49ers after stepping down as Giants head coach last week.
In addition to Coughlin, the Eagles have talked to five other candidates: Duce Staley, Pat Shurmur, Adam Gase, Ben McAdoo, and Doug Pederson.
Gase has since been hired by the Miami Dolphins.
