Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed said he feels great after undergoing a stem cell procedure aimed at improving the health of his injured knee and hamstring, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.

It's encouraging to hear Reed's offseason procedure was not surgical in nature. After he complained of soreness at OTAs and went in for a "little procedure," many assumed it was a scope.

Head and hamstring injuries have forced the 24-year-old to miss 12 games over the past two seasons.
