Report: Lawrence Taylor Jr. sentenced to 10 years in prison for statutory rape
Lawrence Taylor Jr., the son of New York Giants icon Lawrence Taylor, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for statutory rape, child molestation and aggravated sodomy, according to the New York Daily News' Doyle Murphy.
Upon being released from prison, Taylor Jr. will face 20 years of probation.
Taylor Jr. was arrested in July 2013 after two underage women alleged that he made sexual contact with them. One alleged that Taylor Jr. sexually assaulted her, while another said their encounter was mutually agreed.
The 34-year-old will be eligible for release in 10 years, according to the Cobb County Superior Court.
Taylor Sr. is a noted sex offender after a sexual encounter with an underage prostitute, but served no jail time after pleading guilty to patronizing a prostitute and sexual misconduct.
