La'el Collins voluntarily leaving Chicago to meet with police in Louisiana
Former LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins, who is being sought for questioning in the shooting death of a pregnant woman, is voluntarily leaving draft festivities in Chicago to return to Louisiana in order to meet with police and clear his name.
It has been reported that Collins is not currently a suspect in the murder.

Earlier Wednesday, Collins declined his first opportunity to address reporters at an NFL Draft event.
"Guys, he's not answering questions," his handler told assembled media, according to multiple reports.
Collins was in Chicago for the draft, attending an NFL Play 60 event. Many of the other players at the event, including Shane Ray, who was recently cited for marijuana possession, spoke with the media.
"This was a one-time mistake," Ray said. "I don't want it to overshadow all the good decisions I have made."
As for Collins, it appears he's cooperating with the investigation and is not a suspect in the shooting, but as his attorney Jim Boren said Tuesday, "The timing is poor."
LSU OT La'el Collins is getting removed from multiple #NFL draft boards pending some additional clarity on this murder case by Thurs night.
