Strengths
- A rotational 3-4 outside linebacker during his four-year career with one of the nation's best defenses, Dickson has the ideal height and weight to play on the defensive edge in the NFL.
- Demonstrates the leverage and strength to get underneath opposing offensive tackles and use an effective bull rush on his way to the quarterback. (NFL.com)
- Possesses impressive agility and change-of-direction skills for a player his size. (CBS)
Weaknesses
- Doesn't stand out in terms of explosiveness testing, making it unclear whether his pass-rush abilities can translate to the next level.
- Often remains blocked at the point of attack instead of showing an ability to disengage and make a play on the ball in the running game. (NFL.com)
- Despite his experience playing on the edge in a 3-4, he may only fit as defensive end in a 4-3 due to questions about his overall athletic ability in space. (CBS)
