The most sought after guard on the free agent market is officially headed to the Arizona Cardinals.
So are few high-end defensive reinforcements.
The Cardinals formally announced deals for guard Mike Iupati, defensive tackle Corey Peters and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon on Wednesday.
A first-round pick in 2010, Iupati is considered to be among the NFL's best left guards. The 27-year-old should provide an immediate boost to the Cardinals' rushing attack and help protect quarterback Carson Palmer.
Peters and Weatherspoon should upgrade a defense that proved to be one of the NFL's best in 2014 despite losing several key players to injury and suspension.
