Report: Jets to pursue Ryan Fitzpatrick

With Brian Hoyer reportedly agreeing to join the Houston Texans, the free-agent quarterback market is drying up. As such, the New York Jets may be getting desperate.
The Jets are reportedly planning to pursue veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
It's unclear if the Jets see Fitzpatrick as a possible starter or merely a backup to Geno Smith.
In 12 games with the Texans last season, Fitzpatrick passed for 2,483 yards, 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He finished the season on IR.
