Dolphins release Brandon Gibson
The Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Brandon Gibson on Friday.
Earlier Friday, Miami elected to release fellow wide receiver Brian Hartline.
Gibson caught 29 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown.
After cutting Gibson and Hartline, it appears that standout rookie Jarvis Landry is poised to become the team's top receiver and the Dolphins appear likely to target another receiver in free agency.
