Dolphins release Brian Hartline
The Miami Dolphins have released wide receiver Brian Hartline.
Hartline caught 39 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns last season.
The 28-year-old excelled in 2012 and 2013, recording back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. However, the former Ohio State star saw his targets cut in half and failed to gain separation.
Hartline ranked fourth on the team in receiving yards in 2014, behind Mike Wallace, Jarvis Landry and Charles Clay. Landry came on strong, particularly in the second half of the season and supplanted Hartline's role as the team's No. 2 wide receiver.
After spending the entirety of his six-year career with the Dolphins, he'll likely have multiple suitors in free agency.
