The releases keep coming.
After a handful of players were cut loose in the past few days, the Oakland Raiders are preparing to add to that list by parting ways with safety Tyvon Branch, according to multiple sources.
The move will reportedly be made official on Monday and Branch appeared to have already been informed of the news.
It was a blessing to play for the raiders wearing that shield was special to me... Thanks to the Davis family for giving me a chance!

Branch emerged as a solid player for Oakland in 2012, but has been limited to only five games over the past two seasons because of injuries.
If healthy, Branch could be an upgrade for a safety-needy team on the free-agent market.
