Report: Russell Wilson to appear at Rangers' spring training again in 2015

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will once again be spending at least part of his offseason in a baseball uniform.

Wilson, who was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 2013 Rule 5 draft, will appear at the team's spring training for the second consecutive year, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Jeff Wilson.

The NFL star was in attendance to speak with some of the organization's young players last spring, also taking the infield and watching an exhibition game from the dugout.

Though Wilson doesn't see any game action with the team, and is highly unlikely to do so any time soon, the Rangers recently placing him on their Triple-A roster demonstrates just how highly they value his presence.

Wilson, of course, is coming off a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss, in which his goal-line interception with seconds left on the clock saw the Seahawks come up short in their bid for a second straight title.
