The Detroit Lions confirmed Tuesday they won't be bringing veteran center Dominic Raiola back for a 15th season.
Raiola - a second-round pick of the Lions in 2001 - started 16 out of a possible 17 games this season.
The Lions planned ahead for Raiola's departure during last year's draft, selecting center Travis Swanson out of Arkansas. The rookie filled in for Raiola in Week 17 and started four other games at right guard.
