Katy Perry and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt share the cover of this month's issue of ESPN The Magazine ahead of Perry's performance in the halftime show of Super Bowl XLIX.

Watt's Texans didn't get near the Super Bowl this year, but a photo shoot with one of the biggest pop stars on the planet and a likely Defensive Player of the Year award (and an outside shot at MVP) isn't a bad consolation prize.
