Bears chairman McCaskey on fans booing: 'They have every right to be (upset)'
With the Chicago Bears lumbering to a 3-5 start, including four losses in their last five games, their isn't much for fans in the Windy City to cheer about.
It all boiled over during the Bears' last home game, when the crowd at Soldier Field, obviously frustrated with the team's performance against a mediocre Miami Dolphins team, lustily booed the Bears at halftime.
Although some players were obviously upset about the crowd's reaction, Bears' chairman George McCaskey admitted the fans had a right to be disappointed with his club's performance.
"They have every right to be (upset)," McCaskey told Comcast SportsNet, as relayed by the team's official website. "We’re 3-5. That’s a losing record. We’re winless at home and that doesn’t fit the formula for making it to the postseason. You’ve got to dominate at home. You’ve got to control your division and you’ve got to do pretty well for yourself on the road. We’re outside that formula right now and we need to correct that."
