St. Louis Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin might be back earlier than expected.
Austin left Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a knee injury, but Rams head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that the 23-year-old speedster's knee sprain was "mild."
Fisher hasn't ruled out Austin for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Initial reports indicated that Austin could be out for two weeks.
