The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran offensive tackle Ryan Harris on Wednesday, Harris announced on Twitter.
Harris spent the past two seasons with the Houston Texans, appearing in 16 games with five starts.
With the Chiefs, he'll likely be asked to provide competition for Donald Stephenson. If he performs well in camp, he could earn a role as the Chiefs' backup right tackle, and perhaps even serve as a swing tackle behind both Stephenson and former No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher.
