Tennessee Titans backup quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will wear jersey No. 12 for the first time in his eight-year NFL career after losing an arm wrestling contest with Titans punter Brett Kern. The prize? The right to wear No. 6.
You read that right. An NFL player lost an arm wrestling contest to a punter.
Whitehurst wore No. 6 with the San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks, but Kern has worn the digit in Tennessee since joining the Titans in 2009.
Whitehurst conceded defeat by posting this image to his Instagram account along with a caption that reads "Arm-wrestled the punter for #6 and lost #itwasagoodrun6 #13years."
