The Seattle Seahawks are hiring San Francisco 49ers tight ends coach Brian Fleury as their new offensive coordinator, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fleury will replace Klint Kubiak, who was named head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in February.

The 47-year-old Fleury has spent most of his coaching career alongside Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan. The pair worked together in the Cleveland Browns organization in 2014. Shanahan then hired Fleury as a defensive quality control coach in San Francisco in 2019. The following year, Fleury became an offensive quality control coach.

Fleury, who spent seven seasons with the 49ers, had managed their tight ends group since 2022. He also became the team's run game coordinator prior to the 2025 season.

Head coach Mike Macdonald fills a major void on his staff with the addition of Fleury. Kubiak helped produce a potent offense that finished third in scoring (28.4 points per game) last season en route to the Seahawks winning Super Bowl LX.
