It doesn't look like Darius Slay wants out of Philadelphia.

The Eagles star cornerback said Saturday that he hasn't requested a trade, adding that he's aware of the recent speculation about his future with the team.

"I just want my fans to know, Slay did not ask to be traded," he said on the latest episode of his "Big Play Slay" podcast.

The comments come a day after it was reported that the Eagles had granted Slay's agent permission to seek a trade. Slay also said that he doesn't want to leave Philadelphia but understands the business side of the sport.

"There's no bad blood against neither one of us, me or (general manager) Howie (Roseman)," the 32-year-old said. "None of that. We all good. Great understanding, just the business part of it. A lot of guys go up for trade."

Slay began his career with the Detroit Lions as a second-round pick in 2013 but was dealt to the Eagles in 2020.

"I do wanna finish my career as an Eagle, but we'll see," he said Saturday.

Slay added: "If my job requires me to go elsewhere, then I'll go. ... I got a lot of years left in this game. I love this game. So, it's only right for me to finish off strong."

He continued: "I'm hoping for anything. Any great opportunity to go out and help an organization win. So, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I've been here before, and I ended up as an Eagle. We'll see where I end up now."

Slay earned the fifth Pro Bowl berth of his career - the second with the Eagles - in 2022 while helping Philadelphia build one of football's premier secondaries en route to reaching the Super Bowl. The Mississippi State product finished the season with 55 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and three interceptions.

Several NFL players reacted to Friday's report suggesting that Slay wanted a change of scenery, including Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith.
