Jones played through the hamstring issue against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 but aggravated the injury during the game. The seven-time Pro Bowler didn't practice this week.
The 31-year-old, who missed just one game in the last three seasons, was limited to 24 yards on two catches against the Cowboys.
In Julio's absence, Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage will likely carry the load at wide receiver for Atlanta.
