Report: Reagor to play in Eagles' opener vs. Washington
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor will play in Sunday's season opener against the Washington Football Team, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The first-round rookie wideout was initially set to miss four weeks after suffering a small labrum tear Aug. 30. His recovery progressed faster than anticipated, though, and he was a full participant in practice Friday.
Reagor's availability is a major development for an Eagles roster that was hit with several key injuries throughout training camp. With Alshon Jeffery not yet recovered from December foot surgery, the former TCU standout figures to have a significant role alongside veteran wideout DeSean Jackson.
Reagor recorded the most productive season of his college career in 2018, where he racked up 72 receptions for 1,061 yards and nine touchdowns across 12 games.
