Former Oakland Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested Friday morning after turning himself in to San Francisco police, according to Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Smith violated a court order to stay away from the victim of a domestic violence incident that occurred March 3.

He reportedly pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of willful infliction of corporal injury, assault with force likely to produce injury, false imprisonment, and vandalism at an arraignment for the original incident on March 12. His next court date was set for April 5.

The Raiders released Smith on March 5 following the incident.
