Look: Fan claims he buried Chiefs flag at site of future Raiders stadium

A Kansas City Chiefs fan left an early welcome gift for the Oakland Raiders at their future home in Las Vegas.

Chris Scherzer posted a photo Wednesday on Facebook of himself holding a "Chiefs Kingdom" flag, which he claims to have buried in the dirt beneath what will eventually be the Raiders' new stadium.

Clark County commission chairman Steve Sisolak tweeted last month that construction on the $1.9-billion, 65,000-seat stadium is expected to be completed by July 31, 2020.
