Cowboys-Broncos game delayed by lightning during 1st quarter

Sunday's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos has been delayed due to lightning in the area of Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Kickoff happened as scheduled at 4:25 p.m. ET, but play was halted with the Broncos leading 7-0 late in the first quarter.

As per the broadcast, the teams are scheduled to return to the field at 5:45 p.m. ET for a warmup before play resumes at 6 p.m.
