Bears' Fox: Cutler day to day, shoulder injury not season-ending

It turns out we might not have seen the last of Jay Cutler in a Chicago Bears uniform.
Contrary to reports this week that the Bears feared Cutler had suffered a season-ending shoulder injury, head coach John Fox told the media Wednesday that Cutler is day to day, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
"He's a tough son of a gun," Fox said, according to Biggs' colleague Rich Campbell.
Cutler did not practice Wednesday, but Fox left open the chance that Cutler could play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
It was previously assumed that Matt Barkley would start that game after the Bears signed David Fales off the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.
