Carroll: Seahawks plan to have Rawls back vs. Eagles
Suddenly, the Seattle Seahawks' running back depth chart is getting crowded.
Head coach Pete Carroll said on 710 ESPN Radio on Monday his team expects to have running back Thomas Rawls back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
"Thomas is ready to go," Carroll said, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia. "He's going to practice to play this week."
This comes one day after a breakout performance from running back C.J. Prosise on "Sunday Night Football." The rookie had 17 carries for 66 yards and caught seven passes for 87 yards in his team's win.
Rawls finished last season on IR, but returned for Week 1. He hasn't played since injuring his fibula in Week 2.
Christine Michael has started most games at running back for the Seahawks this season, but has seen his role reduced in recent weeks.
