Sherman: 'The league isn't fun anymore'

Richard Sherman joined the chorus of NFLers who believe the league has changed for the worse.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, the outspoken Seattle Seahawks cornerback echoed what both Odell Beckham Jr. and Cam Newton have said in recent weeks: They're not having as much fun playing the game as they used to.
"The league isn't fun anymore," Sherman said, according to Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune.
"This is a game. This isn't politics."
Politics could be partially to blame for the game's declining ratings, but the clampdown on creative, emotional, and passionate outbursts of any sort may be the reason for the growing discontent among a number of the league's marquee players.
