Tony Romo returned to practice Thursday and the man playing in his stead said the veteran looks good as new.
"He's looked sharp every time we get out there," Dak Prescott said of his Dallas Cowboys teammate, according to Nunzio Ingrassia of FOX Sports.
"That's a vet who takes care of himself and is going to get back healthy and is doing all the right things to do that."
Romo suffered a back injury in the third preseason game and has watched Prescott lead the Cowboys to a sterling 5-1 start. The rookie has been adamant that it remains Romo's team, however, and the Cowboys will have a big decision on their hands when Romo is cleared to play.
