Revis, J.R. Smith go at it on Twitter
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was beat deep again Thursday night, this time in prime time.
Among those who were watching as Marquise Goodwin of the Buffalo Bills blew by the 31-year-old corner for an 84-yard touchdown was none other than colorful NBAer J.R. Smith.
Like most others, Smith took to Twitter to critique Revis' rough 2016:
Damn #Revisisland turning into a tourist resort... #JustSaying

Surprisingly, Revis answered back Friday:
@TheRealJRSmith still heading to Canton though. What about you??? 👀

Typically mild mannered, Revis appeared to regret defending himself and instead heaped effusive praise on the 3-point artist:
We both won ships. We both will go down in the history books. Just think its funny him saying that especially after we've crossed paths. ☺️

As intersport Twitter beefs go, this one will not end up in Canfield, or should that be Springton?
