Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson stayed in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins after a nasty-looking play in which his ankle was twisted.

Wilson had the inside of his foot inadvertently stepped on by defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh during the third quarter and had his ankle looked at on the sidelines, before returning to the game with both feet taped.

Wilson did not look comfortable throwing the ball, tentatively putting weight on his foot when attempting a pass, unable to execute the brilliant footwork he's famous for.

The Seahawks prepared backup Trevone Boykin to enter the game, but Wilson didn't miss a snap, deciding to hand the ball off and throw short dumpoffs on the next two series.
