Corey Cogdell, wife of Bears lineman, wins bronze for U.S. at Rio 2016
While defensive lineman Mitch Unrein was sweating it out at Chicago Bears training camp, his wife was getting bronzed in Rio de Janeiro.
Corey Cogdell-Unrein won the USA's first bronze medal of the 2016 Summer Olympics when she finished third in women's trap shooting Sunday.
The 29-year-old outscored Fatima Galvez of Spain in a shootoff in the bronze-medal match. Catherine Skinner of Australia won the gold while Natalie Rooney of New Zealand took home silver.
Cogdell-Unrein also won bronze at the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing.
She earned the support of the entire Bears locker room prior to her competition.

Though her husband seemed to have some trouble watching her performance live.
