Vancouver Canucks goalie Ryan Miller is set to face the Sabres in Buffalo for the first time in his career on Saturday.

Miller, who spent 11 seasons with the Sabres, hasn't played at First Niagara Center since being traded to the St. Louis Blues at the trade deadline in 2014.

Ahead of what will undoubtedly be an emotional game, Miller took time to show his love and appreciation for the city, visiting children at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute on Friday.

The 35-year-old is enjoying a solid campaign with the Canucks, posting a 5-3-4 record with a 2.14 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage in 12 games.
