Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota appeared to narrowly escape a major knee injury in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
Dolphins defender Olivier Vernon lunged at Mariota's knee. He was flagged for it.
Mariota was slow to get to his feet, prompting backup Zach Mettenberger to begin warming up.
Mariota shook him off, however, and remained in the game.
