The Chicago Bears have pegged Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak as a potential replacement for recently-fired head coach Marc Trestman, 670 The Score contributor Dan Pompei reported Wednesday.
Kubiak, who is in his first season with the Ravens, spent eight seasons as head coach of the Houston Texans, compiling an overall record of 63-66.
According to Pompei, the Bears have also expressed interest in Ravens assistant general manager Eric DeCosta for their vacant general manager position. Competition will be stiff for DeCosta, though, as he is reportedly being pursued heavily by the New York Jets.
