Kevin Durant will be on the cover of NBA 2K15
Kevin Durant is not just your 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player, he's also going to be gracing the cover of NBA 2K15.
2K Games announced on a conference call Thursday that the newly-minted MVP will be next year's cover boy. They don't have any artwork at present, but here's one fan's interpretation of what such a cover could look like:
S/O to @thejmdomingo for creating this sick cover of NBA 2k15 with Kevin Durant on it. pic.twitter.com/J5EDvZDexx

Durant follows LeBron James as the cover boy, but it's not his first time on the front of the package - for NBA 2K13, Durant shared the cover with Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin, just the second time the franchise had used multiple cover players.
With Durant earning his second nod gracing the cover, he joins Allen Iverson (5), Shaquille O'Neal (2) and Michael Jordan (2) as the only players to have done so.
MVP and 2K cover in the same day? Can't say we've ever had a day that good.
