Bradley Beal has no desire to leave the Washington Wizards, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The three-time All-Star was reportedly on the fence about his future with the club.
Beal holds a $37.2-million player option for 2022-23 but is eligible for a five-year, $235-million max contract next summer.
The Wizards apparently dealt Russell Westbrook to the Los Angeles Lakers in a multi-player trade.
Washington reportedly wanted to create more financial flexibility to build around Beal.
Beal averaged 31.3 points per contest over 60 appearances last season. It was his second straight runner-up finish in the NBA scoring race.
