Spalding to honor Kobe with limited-edition basketball

The basketball world continues to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant five months after the Los Angeles Lakers legend's passing.
As part of its "Kobe x Spalding 94" line, Spalding is releasing a new limited-edition basketball that celebrates Bryant's "transformation from a player with unmatched focus and determination, to a loving husband, father, coach, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author." Bryant helped design the ball prior to his death, according to Slam.
The Kobe 94 Series Silver ball features a gray-and-silver snakeskin pattern and Bryant's embossed signature. It will be released June 15 on Spalding.com for $124.99.
