Stephen Curry admits it wasn't easy calling up Drake to congratulate the rapper after his Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors to win their first NBA championship last season.
The Warriors star recalled his conversation with Drake while discussing their friendship on the latest episode of the "All The Smoke" podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.
"I called him after the Finals, I was hot ... I was just mad because we lost, but I was trying to congratulate him because I know it's his team," Curry said. "It hurt. ... I'm over here laugh-crying."
Drake's NBA Finals antics included joking about selling Curry's hair lint on eBay and donning a retro Raptors jersey worn by Curry's father, Dell.
