Report: Chelsea offer Hudson-Odoi counseling after racist abuse
Chelsea are offering counseling to Callum Hudson-Odoi after he heard racist abuse twice in 11 days, BBC Sport's Alistair Magowan reports.
Chelsea reported hearing monkey noises during the club's Europa League victory over Dynamo Kyiv on March 14. Then, on Monday, vile abuse was directed at Danny Rose and other black England players during a European Championship qualifier against Montenegro. UEFA is investigating both incidents.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, played the full 90 minutes in each match.
The teenager spoke to the press after the 5-1 win in Podgorica earlier this week, calling the Montenegrin fans' behavior "unacceptable."
"Hopefully UEFA deal with it properly," he added in the interview with Sky Sports News.
England manager Gareth Southgate has reached out to Hudson-Odoi since the incident. The winger is doing fine after the abuse in Montenegro, according to Magowan.
