Campbell's Chris Clemons moves into 4th on all-time D-I scoring list
Campbell guard Chris Clemons continued his rise through the NCAA record books Thursday, passing Doug McDermott and Alphonso Ford to move into fourth place on the all-time Division I scoring list with 3,170 career points.

Clemons also drilled three triples to move into fifth on the all-time 3-point makes list with 437 career threes in Division I play. The 21-year-old is the only player in the top five in both career points and 3-point field goals.
The 2018-19 Big South Player of the Year topped off Thursday evening with a new single-season conference scoring record, finishing the contest with 938 points for the campaign, breaking the previous record of 928 points set by Reggie Williams in 2006-07.
Clemons finished the game with 34 points, seven boards, and a pair of assists as Campbell defeated Hampton 86-77 in the quarterfinals of the Big South men's basketball tournament.

The Raleigh, N.C., native entered Thursday's clash as the nation's leading scorer, averaging 30.1 points per contest.
Campbell is seeking its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1992.
