The Seattle Mariners have been busy this offseason, and the next player in line to be traded could be shortstop Jean Segura.

The Philadelphia Phillies were initially eyeing a package including Segura and Edwin Diaz before the New York Mets jumped in on the closer, sources told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

Seattle has looked at Phillies shortstop J.P Crawford as one piece of a possible deal for Segura, according to Rosenthal's sources.

If the Phillies were able to nab Segura, they'd still pursue free agent Manny Machado to play third base, according to Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philly.

Segura is drawing plenty of interest from other clubs, too.

The San Diego Padres reportedly discussed a deal with the Mariners for the shortstop, and the New York Yankees also reportedly asked about him in a potential trade.

Segura, a two-time All-Star, appeared in 144 games for the Mariners last season, hitting .304/.341/.415 with 63 RBIs and 20 steals.

The 23-year Crawford was selected 16th overall in the 2013 entry draft, but has struggled in the bigs, hitting .214/.333/.358 in 72 games.
