Report: Beal at center of volatile Wizards practice
With trade rumors swirling around Washington Wizards stars John Wall and Bradley Beal, more fuel was added to the fire in the form of a recent volatile practice that included verbal altercations among players, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Beal was among those involved and reportedly told team officials: "I've been dealing with this for seven years."
Entering Monday evening, the Wizards sit 11th in the Eastern Conference and 2 1/2 games back of the Charlotte Hornets for the eighth seed.
With the Wizards underperforming, it appears that they've reached a boiling point and a rebuild could be imminent.
Wall and Beal haven't always seen eye-to-eye in the past and have never advanced past the Eastern Conference semifinals during their entire tenure together.
