All-Star record set with 10 combined HRs

The 2018 All-Star Game was a slugfest, as the American League and National League combined to hit a record 10 home runs on Tuesday night, obliterating the previous record of six that had stood since 1971.

Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Jean Segura, Alex Bregman, and George Springer homered for the AL, while Willson Contreras, Trevor Story, Christian Yelich, Scooter Gennett, and Joey Votto went deep for the NL.

Of the 14 runs scored in the game, only one came without the benefit of a home run, as the AL plated their eighth run off a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning.
