Twins-White Sox postponed for 2nd straight day
Mother Nature has stopped the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox from playing baseball for a second straight day, as the Twins announced Saturday's game at Target Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.
A makeup date has yet to be announced.
Lance Lynn had been scheduled to start for the Twins opposite Chicago's Miguel Gonzalez. Lynn will now start on Sunday if the teams are able to get that game in, according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic.
The teams now have to try and fit two makeup games (possibly three if the weather doesn't cooperate on Sunday) into their schedules over the final five months of the season. They have five mutual off-days the rest of the way.
The two teams have a mutual offday this Thursday, but Twins are returning from Puerto Rico and White Sox from Oakland.

They have a mutual offday on June 4, before that next series in Minnesota, and on June 25, Aug. 20, and on Sept. 6. Have to make up 2 games right now.

Friday's game was also postponed due to a winter storm warning in the Twin Cities. On Saturday, a rare mid-April snowstorm hit Minnesota, and the National Weather Service advised that Minneapolis-St. Paul could be hit with 10-16 inches of snow, according to Mike Augustyniak of CBS 4 Minnesota.
This is the Twins' third postponement already this month. Aside from the two contests this weekend, another home game against Seattle was rained out and will be made up in May.
