Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry avoided serious injury, but will be sidelined for at least two weeks as he recovers from a right ankle sprain.

An MRI on Tuesday revealed no structural damage, and Curry's ankle is "stable and structurally intact" the Warriors announced. But, he is experiencing "significant swelling," sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania. The team says he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Curry, who has a history of ankle issues, suffered the injury in the waning moments of Monday night's win over the New Orleans Pelicans when he stepped on E'Twaun Moore's foot while trying to break up a pass.

For all his early-career struggles to stay healthy, Curry has actually been astonishingly durable the past several years, missing just 18 regular-season games since the start of the 2012-13 season.

The Warriors have been 10.5 points per 100 possessions better with him on the floor this season, though they'll probably be fine without him for the next couple weeks, given they've still posted a plus-6.1 net rating (which would rank fourth in the NBA) with him on the bench.
