Report: No timetable set for Rose's potential Cavs return
Derrick Rose and the Cleveland Cavaliers are both believed to be open to a reunion, but the question remains: When?
As of Sunday afternoon, the two sides hadn't worked out a formal comeback date for the veteran point guard, sources told cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.
Rose, 29, hasn't played since Nov. 7 due to a left ankle sprain and has been away from the club on an excused absence as he mulls his NBA future.

It was reported earler Sunday that the 2011 MVP is leaning toward continuing his playing career, despite the injury concerns and likelihood of his role on the team diminishing given Dwyane Wade's emergence as the secondary point guard and Isaiah Thomas' looming return from a hip injury.
While the possibility remains for Rose to call it quits, head coach Tyronn Lue has been adamant the three-time All-Star would be back in a Cavs uniform and has had "positive" conversations with him recently.
The once-explosive point guard is averaging 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists with the Cavaliers, whom he joined over the summer on a one-year, veteran's minimum deal. He'll reportedly lose upward of $80 million in Adidas endorsement money if he walks away from the game.
Cleveland has reeled off 11 straight wins in his absence.
