Upgrading at first base isn't the only priority for the Los Angeles Angels this offseason.

Free-agent infielders Neil Walker and Zack Cozart are on the Angels' radar as options for second base, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick. That's if Cozart is willing to make the positional switch - a natural shortstop, he's never appeared at second base in his seven-year career.

Both players are coming off strong seasons. The 32-year-old Walker split time between the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers, finishing the season hitting .265/.362/.439 with 114 wRC+. Walker has flown under the radar since 2010, as he's averaged 2.7 WAR per season and ranks 10th in baseball among qualified players at the position during that time.

Cozart earned his first All-Star selection this year. In 122 games with the Cincinnati Reds, the veteran hit a career-high .297/.385/.548 with 141 wRC+ and 5.0 WAR. Offense aside, Cozart has been one of the most reliable defenders at shortstop, recording 56 defensive runs saved since 2011.

Walker earned $17.2 million this year, with Cozart earning $5.3 million.
