Sunday's traditionally heated Rhone-Alpes derby between rivals Lyon and Saint-Etienne at the latter's Stade Geoffroy Guichard was temporarily suspended in the 86th minute after pitch invaders took the field.
Chaos ensued when Lyon's captain Nabil Fekir celebrated Les Gones' fifth by removing his kit and showing it to Les Verts supporters.

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has yet to comment on the match, though characteristically outspoken Lyon owner and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas did take to Twitter moments after the match to point the blame.

"Too many incidents prior to the match, and during thanks to Saint-Etienne players' aggressiveness," a translation of Aulas' tweet read.

Aulas is likely referencing several contentious fouls, including a violent slide tackle by Les Verts centre-half Leo Lacroix on Fekir that saw the defender shown a straight red card.

Match official Clement Turpin suspended the match in the 86th minute with Lyon holding a 5-0 lead courtesy of a Fekir treble and goals from Memphis Depay and Mariano Diaz.
The final five minutes of the match were eventually played after order was resumed 30 minutes after the pitch was invaded. It was the second suspension of play as flares fogged the pitch causing a delay in the opening half.
