Dodgers teammates enjoy Puig's antics: 'I don't care if he gets naked'
Yasiel Puig may not be making any friends on the Chicago Cubs, though his Los Angeles Dodgers teammates wouldn't have him any other way.
The contentious outfielder was up to his familiar antics in Saturday's National League Championship Series opener, uncorking an epic bat flip on a long double before capping a solo home run - sans bat flip - with his own impromptu curtain call.
Of course, Puig's rambunctious behavior is nothing new to the Dodgers - nor was it to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS - though if he continues to help lead them deep into the postseason, they won't be shackling his personality.
"Obviously, he can rub some people the wrong way," Dodgers utility man Enrique Hernandez said, according to USA TODAY Sports' Bob Nightengale. "He loves the cameras. But he's on my team, on my side. So if he keeps playing the way he's playing, he can do whatever he wants.
"I don't care if he gets naked out there."

Puig went 2-for-4 in Game 1, driving in two RBIs and helping the Dodgers fight back to defeat the Cubs 5-2. The 26-year-old is now slashing .467/.529/.934 in 15 postseason at-bats to go with one home run and seven RBIs.
Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger understands opponents won't exactly appreciate Puig's demeanor on the field, but what he brings to the team's clubhouse is immeasurable.
"He's crazy all year, man," Bellinger told Nightengale. "His energy is ridiculous. It's dumb sometimes.
"It's no disrespect to anyone. Maybe some people take offense. It's just how he plays with so much emotion and passion. He makes it so fun, man, he brings so much positive energy, just like tonight with that first big hit."
